Guide 1:Do not practice intimate waxing at your home
This is never a good idea. Let a professional who is trained in waxing those delicate areas do the work
Guide 2: Prepare before going to the salon
Your hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grab. 1/4-1/2 inch is ideal. The general rule of thumb for your first was is the longer the better.
If you just shave your hair a week before, just wait for another week. Do not shave your area two weeks before if you are planning a intimate area waxing.
Take a shower just before intimate waxing
Taking a shower before waxing is advised. I'm here to wax you, not bathe you
Wear loose, comfortable clothes
Your skin will be sensitive to the friction. Do not wear the tight clothes such as jeans. Loose pants are recommended. Skip the undies, and let it breathe!
Guide 3: During the waxing process
You will be asked to take your bottoms off, obviously. No need to feel shy or nervous. I do this all day everyday. There is nothing I haven't seen. I'm not bothered by your naked body, and you shouldn't be either. The more relaxed you feel with me, the less painful the waxing will be.
Guide 4: Waxing Aftercare
If this was your first wax you will feel tender to the touch, much like a sunburn, for up to 24 hours. It is not advised to immediately work out, sweat, steam or sauna in these first 24 hours. No pools or Jacuzzi's. Your follicles will remain open and you will invite prolonged irritation. Exfoliation is an extremely important part of a successful wax. Never ever use a granulated scrub where you've been waxed. Gentle exfoliation is all that is needed 3 times a week until your next wax.
